[Acne] [Skin Concerns] In person, this sucker is a bit more medium sized…sorry, couldn’t get a better view. Could y’all please help me with this cyst/pustule (at least it was before the whitehead came off)? I need it gone with no scarring (PIE/PIH)

Not sure anyone can predict how skin will heal but it sounds as if you're doing the best thing to avoid PIE by protecting it from the sun. You might want to try zinc oxide (just a dab of diaper rash cream with a Q-tip) to help reduce the redness/inflammation part of it but supposedly the Proscesa would have done that. Keep it moist and don't touch it.

Hi everyone! 24F here with combo-dry, sensitive skin from New England, USA. A few weeks ago, I had two baby CCs pop up on this area of my chin. Didn’t think of it much since they didn’t hurt nor were they inflamed. Until a couple weeks in and, somehow, it expanded into a painful fucking cystic breakout. Last night a white head came up. Yay! Lol. My best friend was over and suggested we do the Aztec Clay mask together. We did 10 minutes of it and, when I go to take it off (it is such a bitch to do so ugh), the whitehead comes off...In a panic, I pressed back the blood that came out with a wet paper towel. After about a minute, I quickly applied my skincare routine. As my last steps, I used Proscesa gel over it and then La Roche Pose Cicaplast Baume b5. To top it all off, I used DuoDerm as my hydrocolloid bandage after the topicals dried down. This is what I see underneath this morning. What looks like, dryness (?) or peeling? What should I do from here? I don’t want this to leave a PIE mark, please help! **AM:** - Cleanse with only water - Vanicream Lite Lotion - SunBum Face Lotion SPF 50 Spironolactone 75 mg > Going up to 100 mg soon. Been using this medication since August - first starting with 25 mg for 4 weeks, 50 mg for 3 months and now 75 mg for 4 weeks. I have PCOS, so hormonal breakouts and hirsutism are my best friends lol **PM:** Yasmin (BC) - Ponds Cold Cream (unscented) - Vanicream Gentle Cleanser - On dampened skin: Hado Labo Premium - CosRx Snail Mucin Essence - Stratia Liquid Gold - Vanicream Lite Lotion - Aquaphor / Vaseline **Extras:** Differin Gel 0.1% (Mon, Fri) > Been using this for 6 weeks now. Maybe this cyst came due to the purge? I have no idea. Considering switching to The Ordinary’s Granactive Retinoid Emulsion 2% in December, since I have heard it is more gentle and helpful for scarring and texture. Or I may just wait until I see my doctor where we’ll be talking about me using Tretinion Cream. Stridex (Monday’s and Saturday’s, AM) Azelaic Acid (Sunday’s and Tuesday’s, PM) > Implemented this last week. So, cannot give a full review. No irritation though. Proscesa (when needed) > This has sulfur in it; hence, it helps breakouts and redness. Dr. Dray recommended this via a video about adult acne. She talked about it, too, in a few other videos regarding rosacea and sensitive skin. Thought I’d give it a try and so far so good. I think it may have done something for this breakout but I am not sure. Edit: To add a few things Edit2: Forgot to say that the mark there is the breakout and where the whitehead came off... 🙄😑
